Potted History

This agency was first started over twenty years ago. The first band signed in a management capacity was The legendary Alan Clayson and The Argonauts, and since those early days circa 1979 many performers have passed through the books so to speak! The agency, over the years has promoted many shows, concerts, happenings and tours all over the UK and Europe, the agency has represented many artists and performers, the range of artist has been wide, not only has Charles Salt worked with rock acts, he has worked with beautiful performers like Classical Harpist Elizabeth Jane Baldry, Singer-Songwriter Cindy Stratton and a variety of folk bands and comedians.

Charles Salt has also managed a number of artist over the years, and indeed, kick-started the careers of actors Luke and Harry Treadaway by signing their band Lizardsun on a professional contract while they were only twelve years old. By the time they were fourteen Lizardsun were touring the continent in their own right!. The band went onto great things, working with many of the country's top rock outfits, and Luke and Harry have already received great critical acclaim for their movie work. Drummer Matt Conynham is working with London based,Koogaphone and guitarist Seth Campbell is performing with The Wild Wolves.

This agency has worked with wonderful acts, such as Dave Berry and The Cruisers, Valley of the Dolls, Hazel O'Connor, The Troggs, the late Screamin' Lord Sutch, Skin The Peeler, Mike Pender, Brian Poole, Joe Brown, Elkie Brooks and comedian and folk singer Shep Woolley to name but a very few!
